Olga Hernández Serrano
My professional career has focused on TEACHING, RESEARCH, and UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT at various higher education institutions for more than 12 years, allowing me to build solid experience across different areas of knowledge.
I began my academic career at Miguel Hernández University of Elche (2009), teaching on the Degree in Psychology within the Department of Personality, Assessment and Psychological Treatment. I subsequently worked as a full-time Associate Professor on a PERMANENT CONTRACT at the Escola Universitària de la Salut i L’Esport (EUSES), affiliated with the University of Girona (2013–2021), where I was involved in teaching and research on the Degree in Physiotherapy.
A particularly significant part of my career has been my association with the CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF MURCIA (UCAM), where I have developed most of my academic career under the category of full-time PhD-qualified faculty.
During an initial period (2011–2013), my work in the Degrees in Primary and Early Childhood Education included teaching, research, and management responsibilities, serving as Second-Year Coordinator. Since 2021, my responsibilities within the Degree in PSYCHOLOGY —including the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology and the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training— have also involved extensive management duties, including key roles on the Quality Committee and the Final Degree Project Committee.
Since the 2024–2025 academic year, I have held the position of ACADEMIC SECRETARY of the Degree in Psychology, reflecting my versatility and strong institutional commitment across both undergraduate and postgraduate education.
