The Women and Pain Platform is a multidisciplinary, social and scientific association that aims to promote social awareness for the study or research of pain in women and to encourage the participation of institutions and professionals for the care and treatment of chronic pain and its consequences, from a gender perspective. Its strategies include:

1. The promotion of prevention, early diagnosis, study and treatment of pain in women.
2. The development of work, studies and research projects on gender-related pain within the scientific community.
3. Collaboration with public and private organizations, competent in the field, to establish efficient care for women with pain in the context of illness, violence or abuse.
4. The dissemination among professionals dedicated to health sciences and other areas of knowledge, of scientific advances on diseases or situations that cause pain and their relationship with gender.
