Jordi Monfort
Jordi Monfort Faure understands medicine as a profession at the service of people and research as a means to improve the quality of life of patients. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery and Doctor of Medicine since 2010, he is a Rheumatology Specialist with extensive experience in clinical and basic research. He has focused on the study of Osteoarthritis.
He has developed his clinical experience as Head of the Rheumatology Service at the Hospital del Mar- Parc de Salut MAR Barcelona. With extensive teaching experience, he has been a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is currently an Associate Professor at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona. Trained in Research at the CHUM - Centre Hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal, he develops his research activity as Coordinator of the Cellular Research Group on Inflammation and Cartilage at the Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM)
