Anna Arias i Gassol
With a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Red Cross University School and a Master's degree in Ergonomics and Pain Treatment from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the University of Salamanca respectively, Ana soon dedicated her professional life to the treatment of patients with Chronic Pain and the improvement of their functionality.
Ana works in the Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Treatment Unit of the Rheumatology Service of the Corporación Sanitaria Clínic de Barcelona where she has acquired great experience since 1997 and is an Associate Professor at the University of Vic - Health Sciences and Well-being - Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Nursing, where she practices her teaching skills, which she reinforces with participation in various courses and post-graduate master's degrees at other Universities or Scientific Societies.
The understanding that without research there is no depth in knowledge, and teamwork being his natural instrument, has led him to the implementation and participation in research projects, aimed especially at patients with Chronic Pain and/or Fibromyalgia, expressed in some publications among which the following stand out:
