Chronic pain affects approximately a quarter of the population in Spain, negatively impacting the quality of life of people who suffer from it, in their relationships with their family, work, friends, etc.,.
Scientific evidence supports that moderate exercise can be an effective therapeutic tool for pain management. Regular and controlled physical activities not only help improve mobility and muscle strength, but also contribute to the release of endorphins that act as natural painkillers.
Promoting healthy lifestyle habits to prevent and properly manage different pathologies is a shared responsibility between healthcare professionals, patient associations and the pharmaceutical industry.
In this sense, Grünenthal, within the framework of Pain Month 2024, is organizing the 1st Solidarity March against Pain, together with the support and collaboration of scientific societies and patient associations that join this initiative that promotes moderate exercise.
